A few years ago I first experienced the magnificent band that are the Papa Zitas in Clonmel. I knew there and then that if I was ever to get married that they would be the band I would want to have play at my wedding reception. How lucky was I when my fiance and I picked our date and venue that this magnificent band happened to be available. The Papa Zitas were our wedding band in the beautiful Aherlow House Hotel on 16th August and did not disappoint. They were absolutely brilliant. The dance floor was full all night and they played to our guests who ranged in age from 5 to 90 years of age. We could not have been happier. When I say 'the best band in the country' I am not exaggerating. They truly are brilliant entertainment. Can't wait to see them again this coming Friday night at the Left Bank in Kilkenny for my birthday celebration x Thanks again to Owen and all the band for making our wedding celebration so special x

We had The Papa Zitas perform at our wedding on the 22nd of June 2024 at Kilshane House . The music exceeded our expectations. We were on the dance floor all night! We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality, professional wedding band.

Orla and myself are now back into the land of the living and getting around to thanking people for a fantastic day.
I don't know what to say about Papa Zitas. We heard ye were good but ye honestly exceeded all that we thought. What a fantastic band. I'm not a dancer and I honestly couldn't get off the dance floor it was so entertaining. I couldn't believe the dance floor was full all night. All the guests are still raving about you all and couldn't get over the professionalism and standard of Instrument playing and singing and of course interacting on the dance floor. Top notch!!!
If you could pass on a huge thanks to the rest of the band that would be appreciated as well.
You were also great to deal with and very understanding with our circumstances all the way through.

We booked the Papa Zitas as our Wedding Band before we had firmly decided on a venue! Having heard the band play previously we knew that when we got married we would only be doing so on a date that they were available!! They were as brilliant as we knew they would be and more. Our dance floor was full from the moment the band started and stayed that way until their last song and encore (by popular demand). Our crowd ranged in age from 8 to 80 and we heard nothing but praise for the band from all our guests. We know of no other wedding band (and we've seen lots) who interact with a crowd and keep the energy flowing so well! We can't recommend them highly enough!
